I am a certified trauma-informed teaching artist (Bartol Foundation TIPTA 2024). I began teaching as a way of bridging my love of childcare work and my passion for art making. My pedagogy is informed by the works of scholars like bell hooks and Paolo Freire, decolonial theory, anti-racism, anti-sexism, disability justice, and queerness. Within the art space I strive to be in service of artist participants, facilitating a supportive non-judgemental environment, preparing open ended/participant directed practice and learning.
